there is a bar in queentown called minus 5 that is made completely of ice. you are required to wear the coats, gloves, and boots provided and you are only allowed to be in there for 30 minutes because the alcohol is processed differently in your body in that kind of cold, that one drink has the same effect as three...that i have yet to believe. anyways, the glasses are made of ice, the drinks are terribly fruity, and ten minutes is plenty time to spend in a glorified cooler with a bartender but in all it made for some fun photos and was a great way to start off a night out in one of the most lovely cities in new zealand.

Did the glass stick to your lips?
I take it that you don't have to order "on the rocks" They'er already there !!!!
Daddy boy.
So the real reason that they only let you stay in there for 30 mins is because they don't wash the coats & gloves and they are crawling with weird people germs and if you are in there for longer than 30 minutes, you can contract some weird disease!! I have heard of these ice bars...saw them on the Food Network. Apparently the Russians are a lot more tough than the new zealanders b/c they don't get time limits in the ice bars!! Love you!
Loads of fun!!! I believe you are beginning to speak like a brit, me friend:) It will be so lovely to see you when you return to the states. Enjoy!!
